  • Third/last day at my Re:Bourne placement!

Today I spent some time reviewing invoices, learning how to file and organise them, and understanding other financial information such as budgeting, accounts, reports and statements and also systems the organisation uses.

I was given a workshop project pack for leaders which gave me greater understanding of the extent of the amazing processes and workshops delivered, as unfortunately there wasn't one to experience at my time at Re:Bourne due to the Easter holidays.

Lee came into the office today and we had a reflective meeting about the placement, and what I have gained from the experience. It was great to evaluate, reflect and re-address everything I have learnt from working with Helen!

My last day ended pleasantly with a meeting with Helen and another former placement student, Katie, in which we discussed Re:Bourne's work in further detail, previous projects - one in which she was involved in and plans for the future.

This placement has exceeded my expectations and has opened my eyes to other careers in the world of dance. I am very interested in this field due to Re:Bourne, and will definately consider it as a career path. The skills I have developed over the last couple of days I will continue to advance, and utilise them as much as possible.

I am very grateful for the opportunity and really enjoyed my time with Re:Bourne- I really hope to return in the future! :)
